- Amberlite™ HPR8300 H Ion Exchange Resin is a high qualityresin for use in industrial demineralization and softeningapplications when high performance and cost-effective operationis required. The exceptionally high total capacity and the particlesize of the resin help yield excellent operating capacity and rinsecharacteristics, while reducing chemical regenerant and waterusage.When Amberlite™ HPR8300 H is operated in the Na-form, it will remove totalhardness even in high salinity waters. When operated in the H-form, it will remove onlythe hardness associated with alkalinity—a weak acid cation resin operated in the H-formis well-suited for use with strong acid cation resins to improve overall efficiency andthroughput of a demineralization system by reducing the hardness exposure on thestrong acid cation resin.In Na-form softening operation, Amberlite™ HPR8300 H enables improved operatingcapacity for total hardness versus other weak acid cation resins currently available,which allows more competitive vessel design or extended production capacity wheninstalled in existing systems.In dealkalization, Amberlite™ HPR8300 H has demonstrated improved operatingcapacity versus other weak acid cation resins currently available, which allows users tosimultaneously minimize operating costs and environmental impacts while alsopreserving precious raw water resources under the right conditions.
